Dear GAFSU Members,

To enhance academic exchanges and facilitate disciplinary development, Global Alliance of Foreign Studies Universities (GAFSU) will launch a series of English academic lectures since 2022. We sincerely hope GAFSU member universities could invite more experts and scholars in the field of foreign language teaching and area studies as guest speakers to join the lecture series.

Beijing Foreign Studies University and Zhejiang Normal University will first jointly organize the lecture series on African studies. The two universities will invite outstanding scholars to hold four special lectures from April to May. The topics of the lectures will include African history, African literature, African language teaching, and China-African cooperation development.
