International scholars have contributed significantly to the University’s teaching and research since the founding of BFSU in 1941. Over the past eight decades, BFSU's strong commitment to internationalization and cross-cultural exchange attracts scholars worldwide from diverse cultural backgrounds who value the strength of diversity, globalization and international cooperation. Currently, BFSU hosts more than 100 full-time international faculty and staff from nearly 60 countries and regions, constituting almost 5% of the total full-time faculty of BFSU. The number of short-term international scholars at BFSU is also increasing year by year, amounting to more than a hundred annually.
The International Experts Office (IEO) supports the BFSU’s strategic goal of attracting global educators and developing a more internationalized campus. It serves as a hub for facilitating international scholars in their professional and academic pursuits at BFSU by providing essential services and support. We are also committed to creating a vibrant international community and enriching international scholars’ work and life experience at BFSU by organizing diverse academic and cultural activities.
