This initiative is a collaborative effort between Beijing Foreign Studies University and CCTV.com, with Jiangnan University joining as the first core partner in the Yangtze River Delta region. The unveiling marks the official launch of this significant language service hub in Wuxi.

The base integrates three key elements: "communication, technology, and talent", focusing on four main areas: corpus resources, technology platforms, content dissemination, and ecosystem development. Its goal is to systematically advance language service capabilities by transforming cross-language communication from a traditional "human-driven" model to an innovative "human-machine collaboration" model. This approach aims to overcome language and content supply bottlenecks in key scenarios such as cultural tourism expansion, city image promotion, and attracting overseas investment.

By fully integrating diverse industry resources, the base actively fosters the symbiotic development of language technology and modern communication within the "digital content industry". It emphasizes emerging sectors such as AI corpus, content annotation, and multilingual short drama production. This accelerates the clustering of related industries in Wuxi, establishing a new sustainable development paradigm of "communication-driven industry."

The base serves not only as a tool for industry expansion abroad but also as a bridge for civilizational dialogue, contributing China's wisdom and strength to promoting equal and inclusive global exchanges and building a community with a shared future for humanity.
